NEA Baptist Clinic Welcomes Back Family Practice Physician

Jonesboro, Ark., June 4, 2013 -- Jonesboro native, Steven Blanchard, MD, has joined NEA Baptist Clinic as a family practice physician at the Windover Family Medicine and Urgent Care location.
Dr. Blanchard, who has been board certified in family medicine since 1985, received a bachelor of science in zoology from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR. He went on to receive a doctor of medicine from University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Little Rock, AR. Since 1982, Dr. Blanchard has worked in various family medicine and emergency department positions around Arkansas. He is certified in PALS, BLS, ACLS, ATLS, wound care and hyperbaric medicine. He has also been a part of the Baptist Medical Missions Program and has served as a volunteer physician in Peru, Czech Republic, Africa, and El Salvador.
Dr. Blanchard will be joining Timothy Dow, MD., Doug Maglothin, MD, Joe McGrath, MD, and James Murrey, MD, at the NEA Baptist Clinic Windover location at 1111 Windover in Jonesboro, AR. The clinic can be reached at 870-935-5432 and is open Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday from 8 am - 12 pm, in addition to Urgent Care and Late Night Urgent Care Hours. Family medicine physicians at NEA Baptist Clinic provide ongoing primary care and comprehensive medical evaluations for patients of all ages.
Dr. Blanchard and his wife live in Jonesboro and are members of First United Methodist Church. They have a daughter who is 24 years old and a son who is deceased.
