NEA Baptist Clinic announces 35th Anniversary Gala to benefit NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation

NEA Baptist Clinic will be hosting a 35th Anniversary Gala to be held on Friday, June 1st 2012. The Gala is a celebration of NEA Baptist Clinics' 35th Anniversary and a fundraiser for the five programs of the NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation. In addition, the Gala will also highlight the NEA Baptist Clinic cancer programs, physicians and staff, and construction of the new Center for Cancer Care.


The 35th Anniversary Gala will begin at 6:30 pm in Centennial Hall of the Carl R. Reng Student Union at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The event is black tie optional. Ticket prices are $75 per person or $600 for a table of 8. Dinner will be served at 7:00 pm followed by a night of dancing to the sounds of the 1-900 band, one of Memphis's most popular bands for great live entertainment. In addition, there will be both live and silent auctions throughout the evening. Live auction items will include a Downtown Jonesboro Progressive Dinner, to be held in downtown Jonesboro by sponsoring restaurants, LASIK, a Destin vacation, a St. Louis Cardinals package, and more. The auctioneer for the evening will be Tom Rhodes.

The proceeds raised by the 35th Anniversary Gala will support the five programs of NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation. These programs include HopeCircle, Center for Healthy Children, ShareHope, Wellness Works!, and the Medicine Assistance Program. Through the support of the community at fundraisers, as well as grants and private donations/memorial gifts, the NEA Baptist Foundation is able to provide these much needed services to the community of Northeast Arkansas free of charge.
